ABS Electro isa Russian company that unites several electrotechnical and machine-building enterprises. The head office is located in Moscow, enterprises — mainly in Cheboksary, some-inSt. Petersburg, Samara and Naryan-Mar.

The original name is "ABS Holdings", since 2010 - "ABS Electro" ("ABS Electro").



Businesses

Cheboksary VNIIR is a former All-Russian Research Institute of Rail Construction with pilot production. The Institute was founded in 1961. Activity-design and manufacture of electrical equipment (power, distribution, converter, relay protection and automation equipment),NIOKR.

In 1981, by Decree of The Institute was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor by the Supreme Presidium of the USSR for the development and supply of relay protection equipment. He has been a member of ABS Electro since 2001. The director is Pavel Litvinenko.


VNIIR operates subsidiaries:


VNIIR Hydroelectroautomatika is a subsidiary established in 2010 to work primarily in the field of hydroelectric power, located in Moscow, its activities include design, configuration and supply of the entire range of equipment for power facilities, Director-Dmitry Fomichev;

VNIIR-Progress is an enterprise for the development and production of special electrical equipment, founded in 2007 in Cheboksary, and has a branch inSt. Petersburg, which focuses on the development and production of marine low — voltage electrical distribution panels and ship automation, Director-Pavel Litvinenko;

VNIIR-Promelectro-established in 2006, located in Cheboksary, activity-production of low-voltage switching equipment, Director-Igor Lakhtikov.

GidroAvtomatika — established in 2012 together with the SMS-Avtomatizatsiya generating company, located in Samara, performs complex projects for hydroelectric power facilities.


ZEiM (JSC "ABS ZEiM Automation") - founded on June 3 , 1958 in Cheboksary, its activity is the development and production of electrical actuating mechanisms and actuators for pipeline fittings, automation tools for industrial automation systems, development and execution of engineering projects. The director is Yuri Sushko.


ABS Electrotechnika is an enterprise that manufactures devices for power supply systems for enterprises of various industries, utilities and infrastructure facilities. Founded in 2004, it is located in Cheboksary.


ABS Energoneft is an enterprise that specializes in providing energy audit services. Established in 2008, it is located in Moscow and Naryan-Mar. The director is Vladimir Voitsekhovsky.


ABS Rus is a management organization that provides marketing, management, consulting and legal services for ABS Electro enterprises. Established in 2006, it is located in Moscow and has a branch in Cheboksary.
